Now you can easily donate to A.H.A.V.A. online! See
Just-Tzedakah.org
One of the goals of A.H.A.V.A. is to make quality English instruction
available to all
children. We do this by keeping tuition low, and offering scholarships for those
who cannot afford to pay. At the same time, to keep our top quality
teachers, it is necessary to pay them well. Until now there has been a
feeling of volunteerism - but we cannot rely on this good-heartedness forever.
Teachers pay bills too!
For this reason we are looking for outside donations, in particular for the
following needs:
- Curriculum development ($1,000 per project)
- Scholarships fund ($100 per annum per child)
- Workbook/photocopying costs ($400 per year)
- Air Conditioning unit ($1,200)
- Overhead Costs - rent, electricity, water, cleaning, materials ($100 per month)
A.H.A.V.A. is an officially recognized Israeli non-profit organization.

with a recommendation that it be used for

enabling small Israeli non-profits to receive U.S. tax-deductible
